Born in France, I am currently doing my PhD in Copenhagen. In other
work experiences
I worked in several research labs in France (Marseille, Lyon, Grenoble, and Besançon) and abroad (Turin, Boston).
My hobbies are mostly playing video games and reading books, both fiction and non-fiction.
I am always looking to expand the neverending list of recommendations for both, so feel free to suggest some!
As an overly curious child, I spent my time reading books and observing insects. Ants, mostly.
Devouring any content related to insects my parents could find me, I quickly discovered a word I was proud as an 8-year-old
to make even adults learn about it: entomologist. You're telling me I can have as a job to learn more about insects ? Of course
I wanted to be one ! What better future than to keep on having fun as an adult ? I still have that childish wonder, but now I also believe
that I can support societal changes through my work. I believe that as a researcher I am standing on the shoulder of giants.
Not only scientific ones, as the saying frequently goes, but also those who gave me the privileges to do that job. And I will be
forever grateful for this.
